Auditions for The Nutcracker

Auditions for non-company children for Commonwealth Ballet Company’s beloved production of The Nutcracker will be held at the studios of Acton School of Ballet 3 Spruce Street, Acton on Sunday, September 13. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. for registration. Audition times depend on the age and experience of the dancer:

• Group I - 11:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Dancers 9 and 10 years old with at least 2 years of ballet training.
  

• Group II - 1:45 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Dancers at least 11 years old with 4 years of ballet training. Please note this group does not audition for pointe roles. Dancers who want to audition for pointe roles should come only to the Group III audition.
  

• Group III - 4:15 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. Dancers at least 13 years old with 6 years of ballet training. Female dancers must have at least 2 full years on pointe to audition for pointe roles.
  

Please note:
* Girls auditioning for pointe must have completed at least two years of pointe study. * Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to register. * A non-refundable fee for auditions is $20.00, due at registration prior to the audition.
