Minuteman High School will host its annual Open House Career Day on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. This event is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to see how Minuteman gives them a significant competitive advantage though robust academics and real-world technical experience in each of 19 career programs.

Students and their families will learn more about how a Minuteman education is ideal preparation for college and a variety of 21st-century professions. All of the school’s programs will be open for visiting, with school personnel on hand to answer questions.
Minuteman is located at 758 Marrett Road in Lexington.

In addition to receiving an outstanding career and technical education, Minuteman’s students can participate in a full range of sports and extra-curricular activities.
“Our students are motivated, dedicated, and goal-oriented,” said Assistant Principal / Director of Admissions George Clement. “They earn critical industry licenses that appeal to college admissions counselors and to employers seeking talented individuals with relevant credentials.”
Additional facts about Minuteman High School:
• More than 60% of the school’s graduates typically pursue a post-secondary education.
• Minuteman has been spotlighted in major media outlets, including The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, and National Public Radio. It was also featured in a book, “Job U: How to Find Wealth and Success by Developing the Skills Companies Actually Need.”
• The Minuteman district includes 16 member communities: Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Lincoln, Needham, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland, and Weston.
• Minuteman is an accredited member of the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC).
