Photos Show Destruction After School Vehicle Plows Through Lexington Home

Lexington officials released photos of Thursday’s crash that knocked a school vehicle through a home on Lowell Street.

Two Arlington bus drivers riding in the sport utility vehicle suffered minor injuries, a school official said. The SUV was reportedly struck by another vehicle, sending the SUV through a fence and into the home. The SUV also struck propane tanks. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Officials shut off gas lines while first responders loaded those injured into ambulances.

A school official said the bus drivers were in Lexington picking up replacement parts for a school bus.
