Residential Policy Initiatives

The Lexington Planning Board would like to describe specific residential policy proposals under consideration and invite residents to give their comments and suggestions. We will discuss:

1. Preservation of Neighborhood Character:
-Tree Bylaw Amendments
-Neighborhood Conservation Districts
2. Zoning Amendments/ Dimensional Controls:
-Maximum Height of Dwellings Near Lot Lines
-Floor Area Ratio
3. Zoning Amendments/ Diversity of Housing Types:
-Accessory Apartments
-Two-Family Dwellings
