Laura Jo Trexler, a graduate of Brandeis University (MFA - Acting) will present "Play On!" - a
one-woman romp with Shakespeare's heroines, at the next Munroe
Saturday Nights production. The
performance will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 PM at First Parish in
Lexington, 7 Harrington Road.
"Play On!" introduces the audience to some of the Bard's
most famous women, who tell stories from their own perspectives through song.
Shakespearean and modern day texts are fused together with different genres of
music to create a fresh new spin on each heroine's individual story. Unlike
anything you've seen before, PLAY ON! is theatrical experience that will
introduce you to a whole new side of Shakespeare.
