Francesca Anderson Fine Art, Portraits North, located at 56 Adams St., Lexington, MA, is showing their "29th Annual Portrait Show" up through April 26, 2014.
40 portrait painters, primarily from the New England region, are exhibiting their oil, watercolor, and pastel portraits. In between the portraits are small landscapes, seascapes, and still lifes which were featured in the gallery's signature show, their annual "Almost Miniatures Show," and which are for sale.
The gallery is having a Portrait Demonstration Sat., April 5 from 1pm - 3pm. Mary Minifie of Groton, MA who is exhibiting the portrait of Chief Justice Mark Wolf from the Boston Courthouse will be painting a head and shoulders portrait from a blank canvas to a likeness.
