LEXINGTON, MA – ProMedical CEO Doug Lucente is throwing his hat in the ring for Lexington selectman.
Lucente is a Lexington native who works as an attorney and heads the locally-based healthcare revenue consulting company. He says what inspired him to run for the Board of Selectmen is his desire to help the community navigate the challenges it faces in the coming years.
"As a community, what defines us as 'Lexingtonians' continues to evolve, so it is critical that we maintain solid and evolving communications between all citizens of Lexington and our town government. The Board of Selectmen play a critical role in that communication," Lucente said in a statement. "As a Lexington business owner, and an active civic leader, I’m constantly in touch with a variety of residents of all ages and other business leaders, and I understand their needs. Members of the Board of Selectmen must be advocates for the people we represent. I look forward to being an independent voice on the Board, and I will work to represent our entire town."
