3rd Annual Red Sox Annual "Out of the Park" event - June 12th on Boston Common

The free event includes a big-screen broadcast of Red Sox-Twins game, food and refreshments, and family-friendly activities

WHAT: The Highland Street Foundation, the City of Boston, and the Red Sox, will once again host “Out of the Park,” bringing the Fenway Park experience to Boston Common on Sunday, June 12, when families can enjoy a live NESN broadcast of the Red Sox-Twins game on a giant projector screen.

Red Sox mascots Wally the Green Monster and his sister Tessie will be on hand along with caricaturists, balloon artists, and face painters. The Red Sox Showcase powered by T-Mobile will also debut at the event bringing elements of the ballpark experience out to the community. A 15-foot truck with panels that move to remake the Green Monster wall carries a batting cage, virtual reality dugout, and pitching stations for kids and adults to try. Attendees can also enjoy classic Fenway Park food provided courtesy of Aramark.
