Gallery 529 is actively seeking a restaurant to share its space at 529 King Street in Littleton. We opened just a year ago, and have met with wonderful support from the community. Our concept is fine local art and artisanal craft, supplemented by a restaurant that serves hand crafted food, hopefully featuring local produce from one of the many farms in our community that appeals to common culinary tastes, at what can easily be perceived as a good value. We are ideally seeking a chef owner for this turnkey opportunity.
The restaurant features the following:
- A dining room with 30 seats, surrounded by large plate glass windows, it is bright and sunny and and a perfect place to meet that special person for a quick bite to eat, or more intimate meal.
- A lounge with 30 seats, painted in deep reds with a gold ceiling, this room is a perfect spot to unwind with friends after work.
- A fully outfitted kitchen with nearly 900 square feet of space, a walk in refrigerator and freezer.
- A pretty outdoor seating area under a spreading maple tree, with gardens and a covered patio.
- The potential for additional function space from rooms currently occupied by Gallery 529.
- Plenty of safe off street parking
In the past, the town of Littleton has permitted the following:

- A liquor license, for the entire building, allowing customers to peruse the artwork, while enjoying a glass of wine.
- 80 seats for restaurant use. The building is on a septic system, maximizing total building capacity at 98 people.
- Entertainment, a piano is currently in the building, and a deal could probably be struck for its continued use, or not. Minimally amplified music has been allowed. This created the perfect scenario of a full celebration of the arts - visual, culinary and music!
The location of the building can’t be beat, and serves as a perfect spot for the chef also interested in catering:
- Easy access of route 495, exit 31, Littleton Common
- Large corporations within walking distance - IBM with 3500 employees is across the street, and other large tech companies within a mile.
- Nearly at the junctions of route 2 and 495.
- Several large housing developments surround the property
- Next to one of the busiest CVS’s in the state
- Hotel and movie theater are being built within a mile of the location
