Seeking Theater Intern

Rising Stars Productions seeks a mature college student or graduating high school senior to serve as a Theater Intern. The intern will serve as Assistant to the Directors during camp, and as Assistant Stage Manager for the dress rehearsal and final performance. Facility with social media and computer technology is a must. Detailed knowledge of stagecraft and/or musical theater repertoire is desirable, but not required. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Rising Stars Camp is a week-long musical theater intensive for students ages 10-18. There are two internship opportunities available, one the week of July 5-10, and another the week of July 20-24.

Camp Session I (July 5-10) will take place at Grotonwood Camp in Groton, MA, and is a sleep-away camp. On-site residency will be required (housing and meals provided).

Camp Session II (July 20-24) will take place in North Reading, MA. Camp hours are 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday-Friday, with a final performance on Friday, July 24 at 7:00 pm.

Applicants may apply for one or both positions.

Applicants must be 18 years of age by the time of camp.

A valid driver’s license and reliable access to transportation is required.
