Sports Week in Review, April 23 - April 29

LHS boys lacrosse continues strong start, while boys' tennis is rained out and girls lax falls.

The boys’ lacrosse team continued its stellar season this week, while the boys’ tennis team dealt with some inclement weather and the girls’ lacrosse team couldn’t quite keep up with Concord-Carlisle.

On Tuesday, LHS wasted little time in showing Watertown High School . The Minutemen, a well established program and perennial contenders, jumped out front of the first-year varsity Raiders with three quick goals and never looked back.

On Thursday, Patch tried to get out to see the boys' tennis team, but its matchup with Watertown was postponed due to some wet weather that swept through the area. A makeup date has not been announced.

On Friday, the LHS girls’ lacrosse team took on neighboring Concord-Carlisle. While the game was tied just before halftime, the Patriots ran away from the Minutemen after the break for a decisive seven-goal victory.
