It was time to tie a bow and put the finishing touches on the spring season for Lexington High School athletic teams.
We did that on Sunday with Patch’s . Taking a look back at the season that was for the Minutemen, we recounted the good and bad, triumphant and painful moments experienced by nearly all the LHS teams during the past few months.
On Tuesday, Patch caught up with some of the teams of the Lexington United Soccer Club. The LUSC’s BU14 Athletic, the GU12 Tigers, the BU12 Royals and the GU11 Minute Ladies teams each won a Bay Area Youth Soccer league section. We spoke with some of the coaches to .

But this week wasn’t all about looking back, as Lexington Blue Sox pitcher Steve Bodnar is doing quite well in the present.
On Monday night, in defeating the Watertown Reds, the team Lexington defeated in last season’s championship series. It was Bodnar’s first career no-no, though he did pitch a one-hit shutout while playing at St. Lawrence College in 2007.
