Sports Week in Review, June 25 to July 1

This week, Patch headed out to the diamond with members of the Lexington Senior Softball League.

Many of the teams have been for a number of years. Some participants have been playing sports alongside each other since nursery school and continue to do so today, thanks to the softball league.

Games are held at various fields around town each Tuesday and Thursday night. Each nigh features a doubleheader, with first pitches generally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

On Thursday, we caught up with the members of the Prime Time squad, as they picked up a nice victory over the boys of Foul Play. But more so than winning, the games are a chance for old and new friends to meet up and enjoy the warm months.
