Lexington baseball pitcher tosses memorable performance; track wins big, while girls' lacrosse stumbles.

Senior Demetri Monovoukas of the baseball team made a lifelong memory this week with a spectacular pitching performance against Watertown High School.
On Wednesday, the right-handed hurler against the Raiders. He lost it with just one out to go, but it should forever serve as a memorable moment for him. Also, the Minutemen were victorious, 3-0, adding to an already successful season.
On Monday, the LHS boys’ track and field team also enjoyed much success, trouncing Belmont High School 90-46. , taking all but the mile, 4x100-meter, javelin, 100-meter and the 4x400-meter.

The Lexington girls’ lacrosse team received on Tuesday, but it wasn’t to get past Winchester. The Minutemen fell in the Middlesex League matchup despite three goals apiece from senior Amanda Bouchard, freshman Fiona Fitzgerald and senior captain Meghan McNabb.
