Starbucks Register Outage Resolved
Starbucks, which has two Lexington locations, said its stores across the country closed early Friday night because of a register outage.

Starbucks, which has two Lexington locations, said a problem with its registers nationwide has been resolved.
Starbucks registers across the country and Canada quit working Friday night, causing many to close early and others to remain open with extremely limited service. Starbucks said a system refresh caused the problem.
The company said it resolved the issue late early Saturday morning.

“The point of sale register outage has been resolved and all Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada are expected to open for business as usual on Saturday, April 25,” the company said in a statement. “We apologize to our customers for this inconvenience. Evolution Fresh and Teavana Tea Bar stores are also expected to open as scheduled on Saturday.”
