Stargazing Workshop for Kids and Adults

Learn about the night sky at Wright-Locke Farm (Winchester, MA)

Wright-Locke Farm welcomes adults, teens, and kids ages 8 and up to learn about the night sky with former science journalist and research astronomer Dr. Joshua Roth during our Spring Stargazing Workshop on Friday, April 15 from 8 - 9:30pm at the Farm.

Along with budding trees and chirping birds, April brings the spring constellations into view while holding on to some of the showpieces of winter. This year we are blessed with vernal views of Jupiter, blazing overhead all night as the king of the planets. This 90-minute program will mix slides, interactive activities, and outdoor stargazing with telescopes, binoculars, and the unaided eye.

  • Edible Mushroom Cultivation Workshop, Sunday, April 17 from 1 – 3:30pm
  • Home Composting Workshop, Sunday, April 24 from 10 – 11am
