Stoneham Theatre Hosts "Tasting With a Twang" on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Beebe Estate in Melrose
Join Stoneham Theatre for an evening of Hard Cider, Craft Beer, Comfort Food, and Bluegrass Music!
Tasting with a Twang, a hard cider and craft beer tasting fundraiser held by Stoneham Theatre, is sure to be a fun time filled with live bluegrass music, drinks, food, silent auction items, and games. The theatre will be raising money to support the work that it has been doing since 2000. Stoneham Theatre is a cultural destination for the Greater Boston community thanks to the seven Mainstage productions, young company educational programs and special events that it presents annually. This fall fundraiser will be both an entertaining evening and a great way to support the theatre.
The star of the event will be tastings from local breweries: Ipswich Ale, Newburyport Brewing, and Down East Cider are all included. Bluegrass band Local Freight will be there to provide the evening with authentic bluegrass music. There will be a variety of silent auction items up for bid as well; a great way to support the theatre and not go home empty-handed. And there will even be cornhole to play, for those of you who are really connecting with your country side.
Stoneham Theatre seeks to strengthen community in their suburban setting by encouraging first-time and seasoned audiences to experience the excitement of live theatre. In their intimate venue, they present plays and musicals, both familiar and new, which speak to the interests and concerns of the region and keep the art of professional theatre thriving. Supporting Stoneham Theatre at “Tasting with a Twang” helps to maintain this vision, and enables the community to have continue access to such an valuable resource.

Date & Location: Tasting with a Twang will take place, rain or shine, on Saturday October 3, 2015, from 4:30-7:00pm at the Beebe Estate in Melrose, MA, 235 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176.
