Subzero Wind Chill for Lexington Through Monday

The calendar may say spring but you wouldn’t guess it stepping outside.
An Arctic front swept in Sunday and accompanied by strong winds pushed wind chill values down to zero across the region. Wind chills will hover around zero Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Unseasonably cold weather will remain through Wednesday. Thursday’s highs could reach 60 degrees, NWS said, at which point temperatures will dip into the low 40s through the weekend.
The first day of spring was Friday.
