Super Bowl Snowstorm: Forecast Upgraded to 8-12 Inches for Lexington
The snowstorm is expected to start late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

The National Weather Service is predicting a “significant snowfall” on Sunday night and through Monday.

The NWS said 8-12 inches of snow is possible. Snow will fall heaviest during the day on Monday before tapering off on Monday night, said the NWS.
The NWS issued a Winter Storm Watch from 7 p.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Tuesday for Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Travel could be “hazardous” on Monday with blowing and drifting snow likely. Winds may gust up to 35 mph, according to the NWS.
