Surviving Seasonal Change: Coping with Less Light

This workshop will shed light on the winter blues and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Every fall, we New Englanders must adjust to seasonal changes. As we move into autumn, the sun sets earlier every day. This loss of light—not to mention cold and snow-- can change mood. Many of us do not welcome Daylight Savings Time where we must turn our clocks back an hour. Some of us feel less energetic and begin to dread winter. Attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of typical symptoms of the winter “Blues” and pro-active steps you can take to boost your attitude and energy. The instructor, Pam Wolfson, is a certified health coach with an extensive background in consulting for national health plans.

This presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 23 at 7:00pm at the Lexington High School. The cost is $25.00.

Pre-registration, using a VISA or MasterCard is strongly recommended by contacting Lexington Community Education at 781 862 8043.
