T-Storms, Flash Floods, Damaging Winds Possible Saturday
Heavy rain and severe storms are in the forecast as a cold front moves across New England.

Heavy rain, severe thunderstorms and flash flooding will all be possible across most of New England on Saturday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms will be touched off by a cold front that will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, with any heavy rainfall resulting in localized flash flooding. The greatest threat of storms will be between 1-10 p.m. on Saturday.

Any severe storm could cause downed trees, lightning strikes and flooded roads. Damaging wind and large hail are also possible within any of the severe storms, according to the weather service.
