Join Minuteman Community Education for Teen Cake Decorating!
If you are a teen who loves shows like the Food Network’s Ace of Cakes and TLC’s Cake Boss, then this class is perfect for you! In this cake decorating class, you will learn the basics of cake decorating, using frosting and royal icing to properly frost a cake, make roses, leaves, different borders, basket weave, and much more! We will spend the first half of each week working with styrofoam cake bases, which are yours to keep and will allow you the opportunity to continue to practice your skills. For the second half of each week, we will move to real cakes and you can take your tasty treats home for all to share. Take home wonderful cake and frosting recipes and ideas that will make you leave wanting more.
Classes run July 21 - August 1, 8:30 - 11:30 am or 12:00 - 3:00 pm.
