These Lexington Bus Stops Could Get Axed

LEXINGTON, MA – Seventeen bus stops in Lexington are proposed for elimination due to low ridership and accessibility issues, according to a letter sent to the town in March.

However, the decision isn't final – the MBTA will be accepting feedback through April 18 about the proposed removals. Comments may be submitted by email at serviceplanning@mbta.com or by phone at 617-222-3200.

These are the stops in Lexington that could get axed:

• Watertown St Opp Pleasant St
• Watertown St @ Pleasant St

• Old Mass Ave @ Wood St
• Wood St @ Woodpark Circle
• Wood St Opp Holton Rd
• Marrett Rd Opp Wilson Rd
• Waltham St Opp Wachusett Dr
• Wood St @ Chestnut Lane
• Old Mass Ave Opp Bonair Ave
• Wood St Opp Patterson Rd
• Old Mass Ave @ Bonair Ave
