Town Of Lexington: Detours In Lexington Center For 'Re-Discovery Day' On October 9
'Re-Discovery Day' will take place on Saturday, October 9, and a road closure will be in place.

'Re-Discovery Day' will take place on Saturday, October 9, and a road closure will be in place. The street fair will be on Mass. Ave., with traffic closed to vehicles from Waltham St. to Meriam St. from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The entrance and exits of Depot Square will be closed, as well as the entrance to Muzzey St.

Traffic detours in the area of Lexington Center are as follows:
- Westbound traffic on Mass. Ave. will be routed down Waltham St. to Forest St. or Worthen Rd.
- Eastbound traffic on Mass. Ave. will be routed down Clarke St.
- Clarke St. is one-way out past the library. Eastbound Mass Ave. traffic should use the Forest St. or Worthen Rd. Detour to bypass Lexington Center and come out on Waltham St. to continue east.
- Eastbound traffic on Bedford St will be routed down Meriam St.
- Only to access Lexington Center for parking in Depot Lot; otherwise, use the Worthen Rd. or Forest St. detour to bypass center to Waltham St. to continue east.
- Muzzey St. will be two-way traffic from Raymond St. to the closure near Mass. Ave, allowing access to the Municipal Parking Lot and private lots on Muzzey St.
- The Meriam St. gates to the attended Depot Lot will be open, allowing cars to enter and exit directly on to Meriam St.
