Town Of Lexington: Newly-Formed Affordable Housing Trust Study Committee

The Select Board has formed a new Affordable Housing Study Committee to explore ways to support affordable housing in Lexington, and they are looking for 7 members to serve.

The Committee will have two objectives:
- to bring a proposal to the Select Board and Town Meeting to adopt a Municipal Affordable Housing Trust;
- to develop a proposal for a non-profit Housing Development Corporation or non-profit Community Development Corporation or other entity eligible to participate in the Massachusetts or other community investment tax credit programs.

The length of the term will be 3 years, or until completion and filing a report with the Select Board.
Members may include those with experience in real estate lending or finance, land use or real estate law, real estate development, affordable housing development, housing advocacy, planning, racial equity, accessibility, sustainability/resiliency, or architecture.
For consideration for appointment to this committee, interested candidates must:
