When pre-registering, you will encounter a screen that allows you to click to receive all types of adult vaccines (COVID, shingles, Hep B), but the Town of Lexington-run clinics are for flu shots only. See a sample of the pre-registration screen. The COLOR program is offered statewide, and unfortunately the Town does not have the access to edit the web page at the local level.
Similar to previous years, the Town will have a limited amount of “FLUAD Quadrivalent” senior flu vaccine (licensed for use in 65 years and older and offers enhanced protection for seniors), available on first come, first served basis.
If you're having difficulty registering, contact the Human Services Department at 781-698-4840 for assistance.
As always, flu vaccine is available at doctor’s offices, walk-in clinics and commercial pharmacies.
You and your family can get your flu vaccination from your doctor or other healthcare provider, or at almost any pharmacy or urgent care center. Call ahead or visit their website - at some, you can make an appointment.
