Locked-out NBA stars aren’t the only ones balling overseas these days.

Lexington’s Dane DiLiegro recently signed a contract to play professional basketball for the Italian club Assi Basket Otsuni.

A 2006 graduate, DiLiegro played a year of prep ball at Worcester Academy before being a four-year starter at the University of New Hampshire, where he made a name for himself for a knack for rebounding, a willingness to take charges and a memorable dunk that made the Top Plays on SportsCenter.

At about 6’9" and 250 lbs, DiLiegro is a certified big man capable of crashing the boards for Assi Basket Otsuni. And, from the looks of this video, he’s also kind of a big deal.
