Free family event showcasing at least 10 francophone countries, with children activities and workshops, a puppet show, concerts, movie...

Travel in 10 French speaking countries in one day!
Voyages en Francophonie celebrates the world-wide French-speaking month, it is organised by efgb in partnership with French For Kids and Teddy Bear Club and it is co-sponsored by the Délégation du Quebec, the French consulate, Swissnex, the Haitian Consulate General in Boston and by the Lexington-Antony Sister Cities of the Lexington Tourism Committee.
The 4th edition of Voyages en Francophonie will take place on March 14th, 2015 from 10 am till 7pm at Jonas Clarke Middle school, 17 Stedman Rd, Lexington, MA. We expect over 1500 visitors. This is a free event for families.

Take a trip with your friends and family to at least 10 different French speaking countries from 4 continents (France, Quebec, Vietnam, Morocco, Seychelles, etc).
The day will be filled with micro events from 10 am till 4 pm such as workshops to learn and compose a song with Bertrand Laurence, or to learn and play the Djembe with Sidy Maiga, a puppet show, a talent show, a movie: Couleur de Peau: Miel, and much more.

Mini concerts will take place after 4 pm until Lexington’s Dance Around the World event starts.
Get a passport for a scavenger hunt organized for the children, and be ready to travel! Each country stand will take you to a different place and atmosphere. Meet native speakers, learn about their traditions, danse, music and food, learn even more by doing a craft. Try different food, Senegalese, Belgium, French food will be available for purchase. There will be new and used book sales as well as magazine subscriptions.
