Francesca Anderson Fine Art has just opened their show “Warm & Sunny Places & Things” up through March 26. Their Reception was fully packed on one of the coldest days of this winter’s season, good for seeing paintings of beaches, girls swimming in pools, bright yellow forsythia bushes, ocean waves crashing on the beach.
Paintings vary from $ 500. - $ 25,000. with views of the ocean from what looks like inside a summer rental, to rumpled beds in the sun, to classic summer landscapes of verdant grassy lawns and trees to lighthouses in the setting sun.
For the 1st time the gallery is offering a 10% discount to Lexington parents K-12 and a 15% discount to parents of Fiske and Diamond students as the gallery is in between both schools.

18 artists are participating…Jacob Aguiar of Scarborough, ME, Lauren Bass of Hingham, Penny Billings of Lincoln, Sally Caswell of Swansea, Christine Bodnar of Marshfield, Cindy Crimmin of Acton, Sara Egan of Cambridge, Richard Giedd of Watertown, Laura Tryon Jennings of Marshfield, Dave Kaphammer of Westborough, Jennifer McCalmont of Hollis, NH, Linda Pochesci of Hyde Park, Forrest Rodts of Marblehead, Sharon Sass of Boston, Diane Reed Sawyer of Milton, Jeanne Rosier Smith of Sudbury, Wendy Turner of Kittery Point, ME, and John Wood of Cambridge.
Of the 18 artists participating, 15 have not showed at FAFA before, signaling that the gallery is starting a different direction, looking for softer, more impressionistic realism.

Gallery Hours Wed-Sat 10am - 5pm, Sundays 12pm - 5pm.
