Waterstone of Lexington Hosts Turkish Themed Events
New Executive Director of Waterstone welcomes community to learn about Turkish Culture
September 10, 2021 - Whether it is stuffed grape leaves or Turkish delight, Turkish food is a favorite in many parts of the world.
Waterstone of Lexington invites the community to join them to learn about Turkish culture and sample some cuisine at a Turkish themed event on September 23. Those interested in learning more about Waterstone of Lexington can drop in to the Welcome Center anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Welcome Center is located at 352-354 Pleasant Street in Belmont.
Arzu LeBlanc, Executive Director at Waterstone of Lexington, and her mother Kamile, organized the special day to share their heritage with the community. Local restaurants Magic Bites Bakery and Pasha Turkish & Mediterranean Restaurant in Arlington helped to prepare the food.

An earlier Turkish themed event was held on Sept. 9 which drew about 40 people.
"Our events are not only a lot of fun, but they also serve a purpose,” said LeBlanc. "We want to get to know the community, and have the community get to know Waterstone of Lexington."
