Welcoming Your Baby Into Your Family

An Introduction to Jewish Rituals that Celebrate Your Growing Family, especially for parents in interfaith relationships.

For parents in interfaith relationships who have decided to raise their child within Judaism; or those considering that decision, this program will offer a practical exploration of Jewish ceremonies for welcoming and naming a newborn. We will explore meaningful ways that Jewish rituals can honor and respect both parents and grandparents from other faith traditions and cultural backgrounds. We will discuss opportunities to express gratitude for the deep blessing of parenthood that will enhance your growing family.

With Rabbi Amy Hertz
at Temple Isaiah, 55 Lincoln Street, Lexington Monday, September 8, 7:00-9:00 PM
