What's Hot This Summer?
An exciting new art show at Gallery 529, "Discovery." Join us for the opening August 16, 4 -6 pm. Refreshments Served. Free.

The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Sunday, August 16 from 4-6 PM for the new and exciting juried art show, Discovery, at Gallery 529 in Littleton, MA. Light refreshments will be available, the Best in Show award will be announced, and all participants will be able to vote for their favorite piece of art.
Many local artists as well as artists from all over New England have submitted works for this juried exhibit that convey their interpretation of our theme – Discovery – a sense of wonderment or awe at the mysteries of life, the universe, and the human spirit. After seeing all the entries, juror, Christopher Volpe, an acclaimed artist, art historian, and teacher himself, remarked, “I appreciate the high artistic quality of the many original, imaginative, and elegant pieces of art in this exhibit.”
The exhibit includes sculpture, collage, photographs, stained glass, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. Examples of the art in the exhibit can be found on the Gallery’s website.

After the reception, a delicious dinner, melodic jazz, and drinks or dining on the outdoor patio can be enjoyed at Act III Restaurant, which features a Mediterranean/Californian menu, adjacent to the Gallery. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (978) 486-3600.
Gallery 529 is an artists’ cooperative with more than 30 participating artists. It also offers workshops for all ages. In the evening, adults may enjoy an adult beverage while learning a new form of art work. This fall, Gallery 529 is offering something new, open studios on Tuesday nights. Bring your own art work, or do one of projects suggested with like-minded, creative folks.
