"We got the following note from a Lexington parent over the weekend:

I just wanted to send a thank you note for the quick, efficient and helpful service we received yesterday (6/28). My son had an allergic reaction and we had to call 911.

We knew of his allergies, but had never needed to actually trigger the emergency response plan of calling 911 and taking an ambulance.

Thank you very much to the awesome Fire & Rescue Team and the Police Department for coming so quickly and for taking care of my son en route to the hospital!

We greatly appreciate your service and your commitment to the community!!"
