Wind Chill to Drop to -20 in Lexington

Sunday’s thaw was a nice break from the constant cold and snow, but it will be short-lived.

Wind chill values will plummet to -20 Monday night and Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory from Monday at 6 p.m. to Tuesday at 8 a.m.

The National Weather Service said snow showers will roll into the area on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, but they should only bring a light accumulation. Highs on Wednesday may reach the 30s, but the rest of the week is expected to see highs only in the 20s.
