Winsor Music presents Chamber Series II - Young Artist: Rebecca Printz, mezzo-soprano

Sunday, November 30th at 7:00 pm Follen Community Church, 755 Mass. Ave., Lexington

Winsor Music’s annual Thanksgiving concert features Young Artist Rebecca Printz, a talented mezzo-soprano in her senior year at Oberlin Conservatory. Rebecca will perform in Bach’s Cantata BWV 170, the centerpiece of a carefully crafted program which includes works both old and new, from Haydn to Bolcom and beyond. Brilliant young composer Lev Mamuya adds his “I Dream a World” to Winsor’s collection of Songs for the Spirit, commissioned chorales on the themes of tolerance, peace, and unity. This concert will also feature the release of a private, archival recording by the late mezzo-soprano Lorraine Hunt Lieberson and the Greenleaf Chamber Players.
