Winter is Here and Concord Youth Theatre's "Ice Capella" is Heating Up!

CONCORD, MA: “A Capella” [Italian: ah kahp-PEL-lah]; adjective, adverb. Definition - Music without instrumental accompaniment. “ICE Capella”… see above definition, but add “in the middle of winter at Concord Youth Theatre (CYT)! A seasonal favorite, “Ice Capella” will feature a plethora of regional a capella vocal groups, January 29, 2016, 7:30pm at Concord-Carlisle Regional High School Auditorium, 500 Walden Street in Concord. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door, or online at www.concordyouththeatre.org. This event is sponsored by Reasons to Be Cheerful of West Concord.

This concert of harmonious blends includes young vocalists from high school through college. Featured as part of the evening at the time of this release will be Rocket Pitches (Babson College) and Aural Fixation (Boston University), the Pitch Pipes and Euphoria (Lexington High School), A*Choired Taste, Accent A Cappella and Acafellas (Lincoln/Sudbury High School), Gryphtones (Cambridge School of Weston), and Testostertones and Madrigals (Wayland High School). Additional groups are expected.
