Your Favorite Sporting Goods Store in Lexington Is…

With , according to Lexington Patch readers who participated in this week’s Best of Patch Readers’ Choice poll.

Voting closed at 9 a.m. this morning, April 13, but Tricon raced away from the field straight out of the gates on Monday. this week.

“Tricon has the best prices, friendly staff and great sports gear,” wrote Patch user Chorlette O’Neill. “I shop here for all my kids sports equipment, bats, gloves, swimming, cleats etc… The customer service is top notch especially on a Saturday on the first day of the soccer. They take the time to make sure everything fits and you never feel rushed or ignored. They have more staff in this store than the bigger sporting stores and better service! Tricon is also a huge supporter of the schools and local fundraising events!”

A few specialty stores also received some recognition.

Greater Boston Running Company placed second in the poll, with 2 votes. Also receiving votes were Ride Studio Café, Cycle Loft in Burlington and Olympia Sports in Waltham.
