Lowell Together Endorses Vesna Nuon

LOWELL, Massachusetts, August 25, 2025 – Lowell Together, a new group of community leaders from many local organizations in Lowell, has announced their endorsement of Vesna Nuon, who is running for re-election to Lowell City Council At-Large.

Lowell Together bases their endorsements on an extensive interview, conducted with each candidate with the potential for endorsement. Issues of importance include the unhoused population, affordable housing, immigrant rights, anti-racism, environmental justice, labor rights and unions, LGBTQIA+ rights, and disability rights.

Vesna Nuon has served at-large on the City Council since 2018 and has been a steadfast advocate for the betterment of Lowell. He is always open to meeting with constituents, hearing our concerns, and addressing those concerns with the rest of the Council—even when it makes him a minority of one.

In the coming weeks, Lowell Together plans to put together a canvassing and phonebanking team to support Vesna’s campaign, in addition to any other assistance that he requires.
