Attempted Break-In Reported at Jewelry Store

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6.
On Wednesday, June 5 at 12:54 a.m. police responded to an attempted break-in at Baubles Jewelry in Post Office Square. The matter remained under investigation as of Friday and nothing was reportedly taken from the shop.
At 11:39 a.m. police and fire personnel responded to Canterbury Road for a report of smoke from the fireplace filling the house.
At 12:21 p.m. a hit and run accident was reported on Ramsdell Way. The matter was resolved.
At 7:10 p.m. a suspicious truck was reported at Newhall Park.
At 7:43 p.m. police took a call about a door to door solicitor on Edward Ave. He was advised to get a permit.
At 8:35 p.m. some youths were reportedly throwing things in the road on Moulton Drive. They were gone on arrival.
At 9:45 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported at the senior center. It was gone on arrival.
On Thursday, June 6 at 9:15 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Wildewood Drive.
At 9:46 a.m. a hyodermic syringe was reportedly found in the parking lot at Post Office Square.
At 10:13 a.m. a suspicious auto from a previous time was reported from Melch Road.
At 10:22 a.m. police took a walk-in assault report.
At 5:36 p.m. police took a call about a magazine solicitor on Salem Street.
At 6:05 p.m. police gave a verbal warning to a pickup truck driver who had passengers in the back.
At 8:44 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported in the Post Office Square parking lot. It checked out OK.
