5th Annual Healthy Living Expo

A Healthy Lynnfield, an active community partnership working hard to prevent substance misuse and to ensure those impacted have the help they need, and The Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce, are once again organizing the Healthy Living Expo. For the fifth year in a row, the free event, which is open to all community members, will take place on Saturday, May 3rd from Noon – 3:00 p.m. at Lynnfield Town Common. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at Lynnfield Middle School.

Attendees will be able to visit with more than 40 health, wellness, and lifestyle vendors to get information and participate in interactive activities, including: health screenings and assessments, personal fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle coaches, mental health resources, and much more. Residents can also make an appointment with the Essex County Sheriff's Department’s CarFit Program who will provide real-time adjustments to the ergonomic set-up of your driver's seat.

Don’t miss the massive Mega Brain, the world’s only portable, inflatable, walk-through brain exhibit. A tour through this interactive experience starts in the frontal lobe, which is responsible for personality and higher cognitive functions, and continues through the cerebellum, which controls balance and coordination.

Family activities will include:

• Finn the Therapy Dog: Noon – 2:00pm
• Bike Rodeo with Friends of the Lynnfield Rail Trail: 12:30pm and 1:30pm
• Face Painting with A Healthy Lynnfield Youth Council

Main Stage performances by:

• The Pomtastics: 12:15pm
• Miss Julieann: 1:00pm
• Demo by Cervizzi's Martial Arts: 2:15pm
