Car Struck by Water Balloon, and a Bat Gets Into a House

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, July 19 and Sunday, July 21.
On Friday, July 21 at 8:31 a.m. police took a call about an unwanted party on Salem Street.
At 10:01 a.m. state police were notified, as required, after a false positive for explosive residue came up on cargo screening at Crystal Motors on Kimball Lane.
At 2:44 p.m. a caller near Donovan's Liquor reported that somebody drove up and let an animal out of a cage on the property.
At 5:07 p.m. a caller on Main Street reported their car was struck by a water balloon.
At 5:09 p.m. Lynnfield assisted State Police in searching for a motorcycle operator who refused to stop. The suspect was described as shirtless and heavily tattooed.
At 8:09 p.m. a caller on Lil's Way reported finding an open shed. Nothing was found missing.
At 10:30 p.m. an unwanted party was reported on South Broadway.
On Saturday, July 20 at 2:58 p.m. a caller reported somebody possibly smoking marijuana on Parsons Ave. Police found all in order on arrival.
At 4:30 p.m. a tree was reported down in the road on Evans Road.
At 4:52 p.m. a tree was reported down in the road on Homestead Road.
At 8:29 p.m. a caller reported a loud noise on Melch Road.
On Sunday, July 21 at 12:55 p.m. a tree was reported down on Salem Street.
At 9:55 p.m. a caller on Lynnbrook Road reported a bat in the house. Animal Control was notified.
At 10:13 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Stagecoach Lane.
At 10:46 p.m. police took a music complaint from Hampton Court.
At 11:20 p.m. three youths were sent on their way from the senior center.
