Celebrate Earth Day At MarketStreet

The slogan is catchy: "Don't save your appetite, save the planet." OK, twist our arms.

This Saturday and Sunday the Legal C Bar at MarketStreet will celebrate Earth Day by donating all proceeds from two different menu items to the Environmental League of Massachusetts. Customers can start with the Lobster Spinach Oyster Trio ($12) and finish with linguini and clams ($18.95).

The Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM) is committed to combating climate change and protecting our land, water, and public health. By creating diverse alliances and building the power of the environmental community, ELM uses this collective influence to ensure Massachusetts is a leader in environmental and economic sustainability. Legal Sea Foods has partnered with ELM since 1996, and will proudly contribute all proceeds up to $10,000 to protect our planet.

And around the corner from Legal C, Hanna Andersson is having kid-friendly activities all weekend to celebrate Earth Day. Hanna Andersson opens at 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 on Sunday.
