Rail Trail question gets most attention on Tuesday's ballot.
With just hours before the polls open in Lynnfield, you've probably already made up your mind how you're going to vote Tuesday. Or have you?
While there are seven town positions on the ballot, the question at the bottom is one that's stirred the most interest in Lynnfield.
Are you in favor of the Town of Lynnfield continuing to pursue efforts to develop a recreation path along the unused MBTA right-of-way, known as the Wakefield-Lynnfield Rail Trail project? The question is not binding.

There's been plenty of talk on this one with letters in support, letters against, and others imploring residents to calm down and focus on facts.
While the rail trail debate has dominated discussions, there are seven positions up for grabs with two contested races. Two are running for one seat and a five-year term on the planning board, Alan Dresios and Thomas Wallace. The other contested race is for town moderator, with Albert Divirgilio, John Faria, and Joseph Markey all running.

Others running without opposition include Richard Dalton on the Board of Selectmen, Richard O'Neil on the Board of Assessors, Charles Willis for a one-year term on Planning Board, Faith Honer-Coakley and Richard Mazzola as Library Trustees, and Richard Sjoberg and Stacy Dahlstedt for School Committee.
Voting takes place at Lynnfield High School between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
