Homeowner Disrupts Burglary In Progress

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16, 2013.

 

On Monday, July 15 at 3:51 a.m. a caller on Gerry Road reported finding somebody in his house. The suspect reportedly fled on foot and was described as a small person in a dark jacket.
At 9;14 a.m. a vehicle was reportedly parked in a handicapped spot at Lynnfield Commons.
At 11:54 a.m. police arrested Alison D. Prescott, 33, 50 Ledge Road, Lynnfield, on a warrant of apprehension.
At 12:31 p.m. police took a call about youths leaving trash behind the senior center.
At 4:17 p.m. a Main Street resident called about two men going door to door soliciting for money for charity.
At 4:47 p.m. the fire department responded to Center Village for an alarm set off by food on the stove.
At 8:31 p.m. a suspicious person was reported on Heritage Lane.
At 10:03 p.m. a Main Street resident reported a woman was walking on his property. Police assisted a motorist who was out of gas.
At 11:07 p.m. some youths were reportedly causing a disturbance on Tophet Road. They were gone on arrival.

On Tuesday, July 16 at 10:03 a.m. a resident at Lynnfield Commons reported being threatened by a downstairs neighbor.
At 1:22 p.m. a Lakeview Drive resident reported a woman had climbed over her fence. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
At 3:12 p.m. some youths were reported fishing on Hawkes Pond.
At 3:56 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Ashdale Road.
At 7:20 p.m. a Crescent Ave. resident reported that somebody was possibly in her neighbor’s house. Police found all in order.
