LCC Volunteers Made New Friends In Peabody
St. Maria Goretti and Our Lady of the Assumption members spent time at Brudnick Center.
A release from our friends at the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative:
Volunteers from St. Maria Goretti and Our Lady of the Assumption parishes in Lynnfield spent Saturday, July 14, with residents of the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody. They played games, decorated flower pots, shared stories and laughter, and celebrated new friendships with ice cream sundaes.
This outreach was organized by Kate McGrath, Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative's Pastoral Care Associate, as another opportunity to connect with neighbors of different generations, faiths, or backgrounds, and to express their commitment to caring for one another body, mind, and spirit.
