Lynnfield Boys Golf On The Upswing

Pioneers already have doubled their wins from last year.

The boys golf team dropped a 190-130 decision to the Hamilton-Wenham Generals last Wednesday.

The score is one that obviously wouldn't excite any coach. But since the Pioneers now stand at 2-2, already doubling last year's one win, coach Roger Lauzon is happy how his young team is progressing.

"I'm happy with our start," he said. "And we are playing tougher teams (in the beginning of the season)."
