Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative Welcomes Father Narcisse Seka Ogou
Priest from the Society of African Missions will spend August in Lynnfield.
A release sent by the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative.
For the past three years, priests from the Society of African Missions (SMA Fathers) have assisted the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative for one month during the summer. This year, Father Narcisse Seka Ogou, from the Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire) in West Africa, is living and working in the parishes of St. Maria Goretti and Our Lady of the Assumption for the month of August.
Father Narcisse has quickly become part of our community – celebrating Mass, attending ministry meetings, joining parishioners for coffee, and sharing his laughter and warmth.

Father Narcisse explained his work in the Ivory Coast in an interview sent to Patch.
"I am the regional superior of the SMA Fathers in Côte d’Ivoire. I have councilors with whom I meet at least
three times a year. Together, we are responsible for ensuring the well-being and on-going formation of each
member of the Society in the region, for the organization and implementation of the Stage program for
students, and to promote harmonious relations between the members and the particular churches. I also do
missionary and vocation animation work."
