This annual blessing gives witness to God's and the Catholic Church's love, care, and concern for all creation.

In honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative held a Blessing of the Animals on the front lawn of Our Lady of the Assumption's "white house" on Saturday, October 7.

St. Francis is the patron saint of animals. This annual blessing gives witness to God's and the Catholic Church's love, care, and concern for all creation.
