This year, we will be supporting the research of Dr. Shom Goel at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Goel’s research focuses on focuses on combining immunotherapy and a promising new class of drugs called CDK4/6 inhibitors to more effectively treat breast cancer.
Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer was founded in 2000 by Carol Brownman Sneider in memory of her mother, Eva Brownman, who lost her battle with breast cancer. Since its inception the event has raised more than $1,000,000. The 18th Annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer is dedicated to the memory of Karen Gerry. Karen was the mother of our participants Daniel & Daniella Mammola of Pellana Steakhouse in Peabody and Daniella’s Café & Market in Danvers.
