Lynnfield Man Caught Fare Evading
Mark DiPaolo arrested after caught "piggybacking" at Chinatown station

On April 7, 2017 at approximately 5 p.m. members of the Transit Police Crime Suppression Team were at the MBTA's Chinatown station conducting Point of Entry Policing. While there they had their attention drawn to a male, later identified as Mark DiPaolo, 25, of Lynnfield. DiPaolo entered through the fare gates without paying, he "piggybacked" in behind another patron. Officers approached DiPaolo for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a warrant in existence for his arrest issued from Boston Municipal Court-Central Division for Trespassing.
DiPaolo was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
